There are a few things to check if the CXA61/81 is unable to connect to a Bluetooth device:
1). Ensure that the supplied Bluetooth antenna is properly connected to the back of the unit. The CXA61/81 will be unable to connect to a Bluetooth device without the antenna connected.
2). Your device can only be paired and connected to the CXA61/81 while the Bluetooth source is selected. Please ensure that the Bluetooth source is selected by pressing the Bluetooth/USB button on the front panel of the amplifier. When the Bluetooth source is active the LED will be blue. When the USB source is active the LED will be orange.
3). There could be other Bluetooth devices in the room that could be interfering with the signal. Please try switching off any other Bluetooth devices in the vicinity and try the pairing process again.
4). Forget the CXA61/81 from your devices’ list of discoverable Bluetooth items and start the pairing process again to see if this helps to refresh the connection.
5). Try to connect a different Bluetooth device to the CXA61/81 to see if the issue persists. It may be an issue with your Bluetooth device.
6). Perform a factory reset on the device. To restore the CXA61/CXA81 to its factory settings:
- Press and hold speaker A/B in standby mode,
- Then when the A/B lights flash, press D1, D3, USB, D2 in a U shape sequence
