We've been contacted by a number of customers with network players and wireless speakers who are experiencing various issues with playback when using devices on iOS 15.
These issues seem to be related to iCloud Private Relay, which is a new feature where web-browsing traffic is encrypted and sent through a relay to hide your exact location, IP, or the contents of your browsing traffic when enabled.
We're finding that this is preventing the discovery and functionality issues between the device (iPhone) and our network players and WiFi speakers. Most notably disabling features in the CA Connect app such as the radio station search, and the 'Radio' tab in general.
Therefore, for the time being we are requesting that customers switch off iCloud Private Relay to avoid any functionality issues between the device and their Cambridge Audio unit.
This can be disabled by navigating to Settings > Name > iCloud >Private Relay and then toggle 'Off'.
