This issue has now been resolved for CXNv2 users. A number of our user's verification tokens had been previously disabled. These have now all been reinstated and Chromecast functionality should be working again as expected to our knowledge.

We have been made aware that there is an issue affecting some users receiving a Chromecast error message on startup of their device, or their device not showing up as an option in lists of Chromecast enabled devices.
We currently use a third-party partner called Stream Unlimited to provide Google Chromecast authentication for our network streamers and upon further investigation, this has been confirmed as an error with the way in which Stream Unlimited talks with Google's cloud authentication server, preventing some devices from showing up with the necessary Google Chromecast verification. This authentication issue between the Stream Unlimited servers, and Google’s, is affecting a small proportion of our devices at present.
We are in regular contact with both Google and Stream Unlimited on this issue, and it would need a software update from Stream Unlimited to resolve the issue between Stream Unlimited and Google. We are currently working hard on chasing up Google and Stream Unlimited to get this matter resolved as soon as possible for those customers that are affected.
We do apologise for any continued inconvenience this may be causing.
