If you are having difficulty connecting to your streamer from your control app, it is worth trying a few things to try and establish where the nature of the issue is.
First up; is the device you are running the app on reliably connecting to the internet with your other apps? It helps to check this before you start to do anything more elaborate!
If your internet connection is stable, is it affecting all your devices that you can run the app on? If one device is connecting and another is not, it would be best to check if there are software updates outstanding for both the app and the device itself.
If neither device is connecting, it is a good idea to restart first the streamer and then, if this has no effect, the router itself.
If issues persist and you want to contact a support agent, it will be very helpful if you supply what device you are running the app on and what software version it is running.
